The Guinea national Junior team has been eliminated from the qualification race for the 2015 African Cup of Nations in Senegal. Despite their efforts, they were defeated by their Sierra Leonean counterparts in a crucial match at the September 28 stadium.
Having lost the first leg in Sierra Leone, the Guinean team failed to overturn the deficit in the return leg in Conakry. They were dealt another blow when Conteh Ibrahim scored for Sierra Leone in the first half, sealing their fate in the competition.
With this result, Sierra Leone progresses to the second round of qualifiers scheduled for the next 9th, 10th, and 11th.
