Chelsea has suffered a blow at the end of the season with the news that their key player, Ramires, has received a four-match suspension. The Brazilian midfielder accepted the sanction imposed by the FA after his violent behavior during the match against Sunderland on April 19, resulting in a 1-2 loss for Chelsea at home.
Ramires had until early Thursday evening to contest the punishment, but he chose not to do so. As a result, he will miss the last three matches of the English Premier League season. However, he will still be eligible to play in the Champions League.
