Thierry Henry and the New York Red Bulls showed no mercy against Houston during the eighth day of the MLS. The former French international and his teammates secured a resounding 4-0 victory against their opponents, marking their second win of the season against Houston.
Contributing significantly to the victory, Henry scored one of the four goals of the match in the 65th minute and provided two assists to Bradley Wright-Phillips, who completed a hat-trick with goals in the 12th, 24th, and 86th minutes.
Reflecting on the match, Henry emphasized Wright-Phillips’ outstanding performance, stating, “We played well today, but what we have to remember from this match is Bradley’s performance. He is often criticized, but people don’t realize the work he does.”
