Giannelli Imbula, one of the promising signings during the summer transfer window, has impressed the Marseille management with his performances. José Anigo, the Marseille coach, praised the talent of the former Guingamp midfielder, highlighting his exceptional ball control and acceleration, even in training sessions.
Anigo expressed his admiration for Imbula’s abilities, acknowledging him as one of the most talented players in the team. However, he emphasized the importance of consistency, urging Imbula to showcase his talent consistently both in training and on match days.
Imbula, who was transferred for a reported fee of around 8 million euros, signed a 5-year contract with Marseille. The 21-year-old Franco-Congolese midfielder has become an integral part of Marseille’s squad, contributing to their performances in the league. Marseille, currently ranked 6th, will face Nantes in their upcoming match on the 35th day of Ligue 1.
