Promoted to Manchester United coach on Tuesday until the end of the season following the dismissal of David Moyes, Ryan Giggs will have some familiar faces alongside him. In addition to Nicky Butt and Phil Neville, the Welshman will also receive support from another former teammate, Paul Scholes.
Scholes, who retired from playing last summer, has decided to lend a hand to his longtime club during this challenging period. This isn’t his first involvement with the coaching staff, as he briefly served in a similar capacity in 2011 after his initial retirement.
The presence of Scholes at the Aon Training Complex, alongside Giggs, Butt, and Neville, was confirmed by Manchester United’s official Twitter account, signaling the support network being assembled to guide the team forward.
