The Moroccan national team is currently in training, preparing for their upcoming match against Togo in the second round of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers. Meanwhile, Togo, their opponent, is continuing their series of friendly matches.
In their recent friendly match at the Lomé municipal stadium, Togo’s team, led by Adam Fazazi, secured a convincing 5-0 victory against Planète Foot, a selection comprised of players from Togo’s first and second division teams. The goals were scored by Degli Mensan (2 goals), Didier Kougbenya, Shedrak Homavor (from a penalty), and Atchou Franco.
The first leg of the African Cup of Nations qualifier between Morocco and Togo is scheduled for May 11 in Lomé, with the return leg set for May 25 in Morocco. The Togolese national team, known as the Eperviers, will be regrouping from May 5 in a local hotel to prepare for the matches.
