AUGUSTIN SENGHOR: “THE SENEGALESE COACH SOON TO BE KNOWN!

The search for a new coach for the Senegalese national football team is still ongoing. Me Augustin Senghor, the president of the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF), provided an update on the situation. Several names are being considered, including Alain Giresse, Jacques Santini, Aliou Cissé, and others who are less known. The president expressed confidence in the existing potential and emphasized that Senegal is a conducive environment for coaches to achieve results. Regarding Alain Giresse, the president mentioned that, although Giresse is in talks with Libya, he confirmed his availability to work for Senegal and is still in the running for the position. The decision on the new coach is expected to be announced in December.
