According to the German newspaper Kicker, Mame Biram Diouf is set to join Wolfsburg next season. This comes after confirmation of a meeting between the Senegalese player, who is currently a striker for Hanover and nearing the end of his contract, and Wolfsburg coach Klaus Allofs. Following this meeting, the striker reportedly confirmed the news.
Conversely, Pierre-Michel Lasogga, the Hamburg striker who has often been linked with a move to Wolfsburg, is no longer considered a priority for the club.
