Kalidou Koulibaly has denied reports of signing a pre-contract with Napoli for the upcoming season. Despite media speculation, the Franco-Senegalese defender clarified that no agreement has been reached with the Serie A club.
In a statement, Koulibaly emphasized that while there may be interest from various clubs, his current focus remains on Racing Genk. He expressed his respect for the Belgian club and reiterated his commitment to them. Koulibaly stated that he plans to hold discussions with Racing Genk before making any decisions about his future.
“I want to clarify that the reports about me signing with Napoli are not true. While it’s true that there are clubs interested in me, my priority right now is to speak with Racing Genk,” Koulibaly stated. “I am still a Racing Genk player, and the club has placed their trust in me. I will have discussions with the club first, and then we’ll see what happens next.”
These comments indicate that Koulibaly is focused on his current club and intends to handle any potential transfer discussions with Racing Genk before considering other options.
