Sambou Yatabaré will be absent from the Bastia squad for their upcoming match against Evian on Saturday due to a violent altercation he caused during training. The Malian international striker has been dismissed from the team until next Tuesday as a result of the incident.
Bastia’s coach, Frédéric Hantz, explained the situation during a press conference, stating that Yatabaré was in a conflicted state during training and needed some time off. He described the player’s behavior as abnormal and decided to give him a temporary break from the team. Yatabaré will meet with the club’s leaders on Tuesday to discuss further actions.
