The CAF Disciplinary Commission has issued sanctions against Togo for violations during the CAN 2013 qualifying match against Kenya in Lomé. Togo has been found guilty of violating Article 83.2 and Article 151 of the disciplinary code. The violations include the invasion of the Kégué field by Togolese spectators to celebrate the team’s victory, putting players and officials at risk. As a result, CAF has imposed a fine of 10,000 US dollars on Togo. However, the entire fine will be suspended provided that spectators are not guilty of similar incidents for a period of one year.
