In the under-23 category, the Togolese team demonstrated dominance by securing three consecutive victories. They emerged victorious against Niger with 2 sets to 0 (21-06, 21-14), Benin with 2 sets to 0 (21-09, 21-08), and Nigeria with 2 sets to 1 (17-21, 22-20, 15-09). As a result, Togo claimed the top spot among the boys’ teams and secured qualification for the continental phase. However, Togo did not field a women’s team at the U23 level.
In the U21 category, Togo achieved one victory out of two matches played by the boys’ team. They defeated Benin with 2 sets to 0 (21-16, 21-08) but lost to Nigeria with 2 sets to 0 (21-14, 21-10). Togo secured the second position and qualified for the continental phase.
In the U21 girls’ division, Benin emerged as the leader by defeating Togo with 2 sets to 0 (21-15, 21-15). Togo also suffered a loss against Nigeria with 2 sets to 0 (21-09, 21-07). Benin secured their position by defeating Nigeria with 2 sets to 0 (21-17, 21-09).
