The CAF disciplinary jury has imposed sanctions on the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) following the incidents during the second leg of the CAN 2013 qualifiers against Ivory Coast. The Léopold Sedar Senghor stadium will be banned from competitions for one year, and the FSF has been fined $100,000. The fine may be reduced by half if no incidents are reported over the next two years. The president of the FSF, Augustin Senghor, has indicated that they may consult with the authorities and consider appealing the decision to reduce the sanctions.
