Following the request from the leaders of Etoile du Sahel to relocate their match against Horoya of Guinea as part of the CAF Cup Play Offs, the Guinean team has refused to accept the transfer. The Horoya AC staff has informed the Confederation of African Football (CAF) of their decision to keep the match in Guinea.
The Tunisian club expressed concerns about playing the match in Conakry due to the Ebola fever outbreak in the country. However, the Guinean Union clarified that the region where the match will be held has only recorded five cases of Ebola. They also pointed out that international firms, such as Air France, continue to operate normally in the area.
Despite the concerns raised by Etoile du Sahel, the match between the two teams is scheduled to take place on April 20 at the September 29 stadium in Conakry as originally planned.
