A source within the coaching staff of Zamalek’s first football team revealed that Ugandan player Travis Mutyaba has been penalized according to club regulations due to his delayed return to Cairo.

Mutyaba traveled to Uganda to join his national team’s camp during the international break, and his return was delayed due to the recent expiration of his passport.

Zamalek’s first football team is gearing up to face Modern Vuture in the second leg of the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup, scheduled for April 7th at the Cairo Stadium.

It’s worth mentioning that the first leg encounter between the two teams, held last Sunday, ended with Zamalek securing a 2-1 victory.
