Mohammed Ali Yaâkoubi, the central defender for Club Africain, may be making a move from the Tunisian championship to France during the upcoming transfer window. Several Ligue 1 clubs have shown interest in him.
According to Francefootball, Bordeaux, Toulouse, and Lens have been monitoring Yaâkoubi’s performances closely for several weeks. Toulouse, in particular, is seeking a center-back to fill the void left by Aymen Abdennour, who departed for AS Monaco. The club sees Yaâkoubi as a suitable replacement for Abdennour.
Yaâkoubi’s contract with Club Africain expires on June 30, and he has yet to extend it. As he will be a free agent, he is eligible to join a new club, having only played domestically in Tunisia thus far.
