Zambian footballer Reynold Kampamba has received an invitation from the Young Boys club in Bern for a one-week trial. Despite being in preparation with Zambia for the upcoming CAN 2013, the player has been excused by the Chipolopolo technical staff to attend the trial in Switzerland. The interest from Young Boys is seen as they consider Kampamba to be an ideal replacement for Emmanuel Mayuka, another Zambian player who played for the Swiss club and joined Southampton in England this summer.
