Two Russian clubs, Zénit Saint-Petersburg and Anzhi, the latter featuring Samuel Eto’o and Lacina Traoré, are reportedly interested in signing Kouyaté. The 22-year-old defender is currently under contract with Anderlecht until June 2013.
While acknowledging the interest from other clubs, Kouyaté has expressed a commitment to completing his ongoing mission with Anderlecht. He mentioned that he does not intend to leave in January, emphasizing that his departure is planned for the upcoming summer.
