ADAMS ONDIGUI: A CAMEROONIAN FOOTBALLER SOON TO BE EXPELLED FROM BORDEAUX?

Fotexclu 300x201 1

Adams Ondigui, currently a footballer at Étoile Sportive Eysinaise in France, is facing a challenging situation as he is threatened with expulsion from the country. Despite living in Talence and feeling well integrated with his family, including his two young daughters born in France, Ondigui received a court decision requiring him to return to Africa within 30 days.

“This decision came as a shock to me,” Ondigui expressed. “My wife is undergoing training to work in a collective kitchen, and our two little girls, Manon, aged 2, and Marie-Cristal, who will turn 1 in June, were born in France.”

His lawyer, Pierre Landete, finds the decision inexplicable as Ondigui appears to be in good standing. Landete revealed that the prefecture had issued a temporary residence permit for Ondigui until June 12, 2014, yet subsequently drafted a decree requiring him to leave France the following day, citing a lack of justification for living with his children.

Before coming to France in 2012, Ondigui had played for Vogt Athletik Club in Cameroon and had pursued opportunities in Brazil with Santos FC, a first-division club, as well as in Philadelphia, United States, in 2011. The case is still pending in court following a request from Ondigui’s lawyer, and he remains hopeful for a favorable outcome.
