The friendly match between Algeria and Portugal, initially scheduled for March 5 but postponed, is still being planned by both countries. Mohamed Raouraoua, the president of the Algerian Football Federation, confirmed the intention to organize the match in the near future during an interview with the daily El Chourouk.
Algeria recently played against Slovenia as part of their preparation for the 2014 World Cup, with coach Vahid Halilhodzic opting for opponents of varying calibers in their build-up to the tournament.
