Even after being retired for around thirty years, King Pelé continues to amass wealth thanks to his illustrious career in football. At 73 years old, the former Brazilian football star remains financially prosperous.
Reports from Sambafoot indicate that Pelé, who currently serves as an ambassador for Coca-Cola internationally, is set to earn more than 15 million euros in advertising contracts through his agency Sport 10 during the 2014 World Cup.
Moreover, according to information from the American agency Legends 10, Pelé’s earnings are projected to exceed 70 million euros by the time of the 2016 Olympics.
Clearly, Pelé has proven himself to be a formidable businessman even in his retirement years.
