In the event of a final victory in the Champions League this season, each Paris Saint-Germain player is set to receive a significant bonus, negotiated by the team’s star player, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as reported by L’Equipe.
Wearing the number 10 jersey at PSG, Ibrahimovic also holds the distinction of being the highest-paid player at the club, commanding a gross salary of 18 million euros, the highest in the French championship. He is followed closely by the Brazilian defender Thiago Silva, whose salary amounts to 15 million euros. Completing PSG’s highest-paid trio is Blaise Matuidi, earning 12 million euros.
Ibrahimovic’s prolific scoring form is evident with a staggering 40 goals already netted this season across all competitions, including 25 in the league and 10 in the Champions League.
However, to secure the bonus of 1 million euros in the final, PSG must first navigate through the quarter-final stage, where they will contend with seven other teams. The draw for the quarter-finals is scheduled for Friday.
