Eliaquim Mangala’s potential departure from FC Porto at the end of the season has prompted the Portuguese club to search for a replacement, with Ali Ghazal emerging as a target.
Reportedly, FC Porto has set its sights on Ali Ghazal, the Egyptian central defender currently playing for Nacional Madeira. Ghazal, aged 22, has caught the attention of Porto’s scouts and is seen as a potential successor to Mangala. He has featured in 20 matches for Nacional Madeira in the Liga ZON Sagres this season.
Ghazal’s performances have earned him recognition at the international level as well. He received his first call-up for the Egyptian national team in a friendly match against Bosnia-Herzegovina, which Egypt won 2-0.
