Ahmad secures his position for another term. Having previously served as the head of the Malagasy Football Federation, Ahmad has been reappointed following an election overseen by a member of the executive committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). He ran unopposed and received 21 out of 22 votes in his favor.
Despite his successful reelection, Ahmad has announced that this will be his final term leading the governing body of Malagasy football. He declared that this would be his third and last mandate at the helm of the Federation.
