Another Ivorian may be joining AS Roma following Gervinho’s footsteps. According to reports from the Calciomercato website, Wilfried Bony, the Ivorian striker currently playing for Swansea in the English Premier League, is being considered by Rudi Garcia, the coach of AS Roma, as a potential addition to strengthen the team’s attacking options for the upcoming season.
Bony fits the profile sought by Garcia to provide additional firepower to Roma’s attack, which has shown promise during the current season.
Having joined Swansea last summer from Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem, Wilfried Bony has been in impressive form, scoring 19 goals in 38 appearances this season. He is contracted to Swansea until 2017, and Roma would need to pay approximately 15 million euros to secure his services.
