Ante Cacic, the former head coach of Pyramids, made an appearance at the Croatian national team’s training camp today, Monday, ahead of their match against Egypt scheduled for Tuesday in the final of the Cairo International Friendly Tournament.
Cacic held a meeting with Zlatko Dalic, the head coach of the Croatian national team, during his visit to his country’s squad camp.
Having previously managed Pyramids during the 2019-2020 season, Cacic led the team to the final of the CAF Confederation Cup, where they suffered a 1-0 defeat against Morocco’s Renaissance Berkane in the championship match.
Following his tenure at Pyramids, Cacic took charge of Croatia’s Dinamo Zagreb from April 2022 to April 2023, marking his last coaching experience.
Notably, Cacic had previously led the Croatian national team from 2015 to 2017, bringing his expertise and insights to the meeting with Dalic and potentially providing valuable perspectives on the upcoming clash against Egypt.
