Amir Abdo, the coach of the Mauritania national team, has intensified the pressure on the Moroccan squad ahead of their highly anticipated friendly match scheduled for Tuesday evening at the Grand Stade d’Agadir.
During the pre-match press conference on Monday, Abdo emphasized that his team would approach the game with freedom and without pressure, unlike their Moroccan counterparts.
“This is the reality because we are facing a world-class team, a pride of Africa, which has earned a significant reputation and the respect of its opponents,” stated the coach of the “Al Murabitun.”
He continued, “Morocco will play in front of their fans with talents active in top international clubs, making this match an excellent test for us with significant potential benefits.”
Referring to his good relationship with Morocco’s coach, Walid Regragui, Abdo expressed admiration for the Moroccan players.
However, he affirmed their commitment to delivering a match worthy of their performance in the previous Africa Cup of Nations against Ivory Coast.
“We will strive to create significant challenges for the Moroccan national team, and playing in such conditions and in front of passionate fans will be immensely beneficial,” Abdo asserted.
Concluding his remarks, Abdo assured the audience of an outstanding match, stating, “What I can guarantee to the fans is a remarkable game.
This test represents a significant challenge for us, with undoubtedly positive implications.”
