Following the early exit of the Angels of Notsé from the African Champions League, the club’s leadership has made changes to the technical staff. Jean François Lescuito, who coached the team during the continental campaign, has been appointed as the Technical Director. In addition, Salid Ahmed Salim, a Ghanaian, has been appointed as the new head coach of the Notsè club.
Explaining his new role, Lescuito mentioned practical reasons for the appointment, stating that he will be traveling to Europe to finalize meetings with certain clubs. These meetings aim to facilitate opportunities for players from the club to undergo trials abroad. As Technical Director, Lescuito will also continue to oversee the team’s sporting activities while coordinating with the new coach.
The reigning champions of Togo have already resumed training sessions in preparation for the upcoming season, signaling their determination to bounce back from their continental disappointment.
