In an interview with Milan Channel, Adel Taarabt sends a clear message to the Spanish side: the Rossoneri are determined to overturn the deficit and secure a spot in the quarter-finals. “At San Siro, we should have come away with a win, but luck was not on our side. We are not afraid to face Atletico,” admits the Moroccan midfielder. “They are a formidable opponent, but the Champions League is a different competition. We’ve shown that we can dominate, so there’s no reason why we can’t do it there.”
To achieve this, Clarence Seedorf’s men will need to display more assertiveness than they did in their recent defeat against Udinese (0-1).
