Initially, Etoile du Sahel had filed a complaint regarding the participation of Gabonese player Ibrahima Ndong in the match, leading to a decision to overturn CS Sfaxien’s victory. However, after further review, the CNAS has sided with CS Sfaxien, restoring their victory and the three points.
This decision has significant implications for the standings, with CS Sfaxien reclaiming second place with 41 points, trailing six points behind the league leaders, Esperance Sportive de Tunis. Meanwhile, Etoile Sportive du Sahel has been demoted to fourth place in the rankings.
