Brazil is still grappling with the decision of Diego Costa to represent the Spanish national team. To prevent similar surprises in the future, the country is taking proactive measures to ensure that promising talents remain within its fold.
In this regard, Brazil has dispatched Alexandre Gallo, the coach of the under-20 national team, to Europe. The purpose of this initiative, as reported by the Spanish daily As, is to engage with potential Brazilian talents currently based in Europe.
Among the players on Gallo’s radar are Kelvin (20 years old, FC Porto), Jean Carlos Rocha (17 years old, Real Madrid), Lucas Vega (14 years old, FC Barcelona), Andreas Pereira (18 years old, Manchester United), and Marcos Lopes (18 years old, Manchester City).
However, there are concerns that Spain could still entice two of these players, Rocha and Vega, to represent their national team instead.
