Morocco settled for a draw in their match against Gabon on Wednesday, with both teams ending with one goal each.
The Atlas Lions took the lead first, finding the back of the net in the 27th minute courtesy of El Arabi. They maintained their 1-0 lead until halftime.
However, in the second half, specifically at the hour mark, Evouna managed to equalize for the Panthers.
Despite the return of Adel Taarabt, Morocco didn’t show much prowess on the field. Meanwhile, the interim coach Mbourounot seemed to have a relatively successful stint with the Gabon team.
