While preparing for the friendly match between Belgium and Ivory Coast, VRT presenter Hanne Decoutere inadvertently made a significant slip-up that has caused quite a buzz.
In Dutch, Ivory Coast is translated as “Ivoorkust.” However, without the “s,” it becomes “Ivoorkut,” which has a completely different and inappropriate meaning. “Kut” is colloquially translated as “vagina,” thus resulting in the unintended phrase “ivory pussy.”
This gaffe quickly spread across social networks, with many users finding humor in the unintentional wordplay.
