The name Frédéric Patouillard may not ring a bell for many, especially those not familiar with Lyon football history from the 1990s. However, his name has resurfaced recently, and unfortunately, not for positive reasons.
Retired from professional football since 2009, Patouillard finds himself in a precarious situation. According to reports from Le Progrès newspaper, the former Olympique Lyonnais player is under suspicion for involvement in the resale of cocaine and alleged criminal association with individuals suspected of trafficking hashish.
At 40 years old, Frédéric Patouillard is currently detained in prison as the investigation unfolds.
