The Tunisian national team secured their spot in the final round of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers after a successful passage in their category. Led by coach Samir Landolsi, the team had won the first leg against Egypt 3-0 and managed to secure a 2-2 draw in the second leg.
Meriem Houij scored in the 4th minute, followed by Zina Hidouri in the 61st minute, contributing to Tunisia’s goals in the match. With this result, Tunisia advances to the next round where they will face the winner of the confrontation between Morocco and Algeria.
Additionally, Zambia also secured qualification at the expense of Tanzania in another match.
