As anticipated for some time now, Mourad Satli is considering a potential return to Sporting de Charleroi, as reported by lavenir.net. The Franco-Algerian defender is contemplating his future with the Belgian club.
The management of the Zebras has reportedly made Satli a proposal, and the player is currently evaluating it. It appears likely that the Oran-native will soon extend his contract with Sporting, as his current deal expires in June 2014.
“We have presented him with a proposal, and he is currently considering it,” explained Pierre-Yves Hendrickx, the club’s administrative director. “Both parties are keen to continue our collaboration.”
Expressing his interest in continuing his journey with the Zebras, Satli stated, “I am intrigued by the prospect of continuing with Charleroi. I am pleased that the club has approached me promptly. I haven’t had much time to think about it, to be honest. Maybe I made a small mistake there, who knows. Although, I’m not sure if the club has been following the media coverage on this matter,” the player jokingly remarked.
Feeling a sense of satisfaction with his current situation, Satli added, “I am a bit more content than usual, but there is always room for improvement. Confidence has been a key factor. The coach has consistently pushed me to excel, and I am glad that it has translated onto the pitch,” the Algerian concluded.
