Having been relieved of his duties at Chelsea and Tottenham on separate occasions, the Portuguese tactician is now eyeing a potential move to the Spanish league. Should an opportunity arise with either Real Madrid or Barcelona, Tim Sherwood’s predecessor is eager to embrace the challenge. “Barcelona and Real Madrid are two of the best teams in the world. As a young coach, it would be a dream to manage either of them. I am keen to explore other leagues, and I have received offers from various clubs. I am confident that by next June, I will be back in charge,” Villas-Boas revealed in an interview with Marca.
Although his name has been linked with Barcelona, Villas-Boas finds himself among a shortlist of five candidates in the event of Tata Martino’s departure.
