Didier Deschamps has announced his squad for the upcoming friendly against the Netherlands on March 5. The list includes new faces such as Griezmann, Lacazette, Digne, and Kurzawa, with Griezmann receiving his first call-up for the Real Sociedad player in Spain and Kurzawa for the PSG full-back.
However, there are notable absences in the squad. Eric Abidal and Samir Nasri are not included, despite Abidal’s previous trust in more challenging times and Nasri’s absence from the recent lineup. Additionally, André Pierre-Gignac and Bafétimbi Gomis, both lively attackers in Ligue 1, have not been selected.
Returning from injury, Mamadou Sakho and Franck Ribéry have been called up, adding experience to the squad.
The complete squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Lloris, Mandanda, Ruffier
Defenders: Debuchy, Digne, Evra, Sagna, Managala, Sakho, Varane, Koscielny
Midfielders: Pogba, Cabaye, Matuidi, Grenier, Mavuba, Sissoko
Forwards: Benzema, Giroud, Ribery, Griezmann, Payet, Remy, Valbuena
