Johan Djourou appears to be thriving in Germany since his move to the Bundesliga. The Swiss international of Ivorian descent has been on loan from Arsenal to Hamburg since the beginning of the season.
Reports suggest that Djourou has no intentions of returning to Arsenal. According to RMC, citing information from the German newspaper Bild, the 27-year-old, born in Abidjan, is keen on staying in Hamburg. He stated, “I know the coach, I like the club, the city. HSV is an incredible club.”
This isn’t Djourou’s first stint in the Bundesliga; he was previously loaned to Hannover during the latter half of the 2012-2013 season
