In the Tunisian football championship, African Club suffered another setback, this time conceding a defeat against Gafsa with a score of 1-0 during the 20th day of Ligue 1 Pro. The only goal of the match was scored by Mohamed Amine Ouerghammi after half an hour of play.
This defeat further complicates matters for CA, as they are now nine points behind Esperance de Tunis, the league leaders.
However, the highlight of the day was the Union Sportive Monastirienne’s (USMO) victory over JS Kairouanaise with a score of 3-2, which helped them move out of the relegation zone. On the other hand, Tunisian Stadium suffered a setback with a defeat against Avenir Sportif de la Marsa (2-1).
The 20th day will be concluded with the match between Stade Gabésien and Club Sportif Sfaxien on Tuesday.
