Youssef Hadji has made a return to training with AS Nancy Lorraine, as confirmed by the official Twitter account of the French Ligue 2 club on Monday.
Currently, it’s uncertain whether this return signifies negotiations for a new contract with the Lorraine club. Hadji had been without a club for two weeks following the termination of his contract with Elazigspor. However, there’s a possibility that he could rejoin a team he is familiar with, having previously scored 57 goals in 255 matches for ASNL between 1998 to 2003 and from 2007 to 2011. His stints in Qatar and Turkey were less successful, prompting him to express his desire to return to France.
As for Hadji’s potential contract with Nancy, more information is expected to be revealed soon.
