Africa Sport of Abidjan faced disappointment in the 2012 African Cup of Champions Clubs (women) as they were defeated in the quarter-finals by FAP of Cameroon with a score of 32-23. Despite a good performance in the group stage, the Ivorian team could not progress further. In the men’s competition, SOA won their ranking match against Stade Mandji from Gabon with a score of 25-21, securing their place in the semi-finals. Espérance S. Tunis also qualified for the semi-finals by defeating Tanja Sport club with a score of 30-20. The Tunisian club is set to face Al Ahly in the semi-final.
