Ivory Coast’s coach, Sabri Lamouchi, has unveiled the team’s preparation program for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Brazil, which will take place from June 12 to July 13, 2014.
The Elephants will kick off their preparations with a friendly match against Belgium on March 5, marking FIFA Day.
Following this, Didier Drogba and his teammates will participate in the “Road to Brazil” tournament organized by the United States, alongside seven other national teams, including Nigeria. The team will undergo two training camps, first in Dallas from May 24 to 28, then in Saint-Louis from May 28 to 31, 2014. During these camps, Ivory Coast will play two friendly matches, first against Bosnia Herzegovina on May 17, then against El Salvador on May 28.
Finally, Ivory Coast will head to Brazil on June 7 to face Japan in their first match of the tournament on June 14.
