Slim Riahi, despite rumors of his resignation, has decided to remain in his position as the president of the African Club of Tunis for the time being. After an emergency meeting held at the club’s headquarters, Riahi announced that he will stay in his role until the end of the season. However, a General Assembly is scheduled for May 21, during which supporters will have the opportunity to assess the past season and decide whether or not to renew the current directorate.
This decision comes amid protests from some fans of Club Africain, who had gathered in front of the club’s headquarters to demand Riahi’s resignation. The outcome of the General Assembly in May will ultimately determine the future leadership of the club.
