However, club president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi recently addressed the speculation surrounding Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Al-Khelaïfi stated that the media has created stories about Messi and Ronaldo potentially joining PSG, which generates attention but may not be beneficial for the clubs involved. He emphasized that both players seem content at Barcelona and Real Madrid, respectively, and stressed his respect for those clubs and their presidents. Al-Khelaïfi mentioned that if PSG were interested in a player from either club, he would approach the president directly.
Regarding the speculation about Ronaldo (the Brazilian) potentially becoming PSG’s future sports director, Al-Khelaïfi neither confirmed nor denied it. However, it’s clear that PSG’s focus remains on respecting other clubs and their players’ current situations while maintaining good relations within the football community.
