South African team Supersport reaffirmed their dominance during the return match of the first round of the African Confederation Cup preliminaries by securing a victory in Botswana against Gaboronne (1-0).
In the initial leg, the South Africans had already triumphed over their opponents (2-0).
Meanwhile, Union de Douala also secured qualification, thanks to their home victory in the first leg (3-0). The Cameroonian club managed to limit the damage in the return match, conceding only a narrow defeat to Chad’s ASLAD (2-1).
On Friday, AS Douanes from Togo and CO Bamako from Mali had already secured their tickets for the second round.
