Eloge Enza-Yamissi, a friend of Matuidi and player for Valenciennes, expressed confidence in Matuidi’s decision to stay in Paris, stating, “We haven’t discussed it, but I believe he will stay in Paris. PSG is becoming one of the biggest clubs in Europe, and it’s better for him to stay in France to be noticed.”
If the contract extension does not materialize, several top European clubs, including Manchester City and Napoli, are reportedly interested in signing Matuidi. However, PSG is keen to retain the midfielder’s services and is working towards securing his long-term future at the club.
