Enock Kofi Adu, the Ghanaian midfielder from Club Brugge, is set to depart Belgium for the Norwegian championship. As reported by RTBF, Adu will spend the remainder of the season playing for the Norwegian club Stabaek, joining them on loan at the age of 23.
Club Brugge had made a significant investment to acquire Adu’s services last winter, following his notable performances in the Champions League with the Danish club Nordsjaelland. However, since joining Bruges, Adu has struggled to make a significant impact in the Jupiler Pro League.
With both parties seeking a favorable solution, a loan move was deemed the best option. FC Brugge confirmed that Adu will commence his stint with Stabaek on March 30, coinciding with their home match against Sogndal in the Norwegian championship.
