Brazil has announced that it will offer special, free visas to foreign supporters who wish to attend the World Cup, which runs from June 12 to July 13. Luiz Alberto Figueiredo, the head of Brazilian diplomacy, made this announcement, stating that the visas will be issued as a priority and free of charge by Brazilian embassies and consulates abroad.
It is expected that more than 600,000 foreigners will attend the World Cup, joining the approximately three million Brazilian supporters who will travel across the country to support their teams.
