Faris Haroun, the Belgian midfielder of Chadian descent, has bid farewell to Middlesbrough but remains in England to continue his football journey in the Championship (English D2). Following the termination of his contract with Middlesbrough, Haroun swiftly found a new opportunity with Blackpool.
The 28-year-old midfielder, who had attracted interest from several clubs in the Pro League, has opted to join Blackpool instead. Haroun, who previously played for Genk and Germinal Beerschot, has represented the Belgian national team six times between 2007 and 2009. He had been with Middlesbrough since August 2011 before his recent move to Blackpool.
